There are no end of fitness and exercise books on the market.  This article aims to provide insight into a few that are really worth the investment.  

 

The first I would recommend is   The New Rules of Lifting for Women a brilliant book that explodes the myth that weight lifting is for the boys.  This lays out a detailed workout routine along with a nutritional profile that gives a detailed well balanced menu and diet plan. 

 

The second is Sculpting her Body Perfect a well laid out and detailed exercise book this also comes with a 60 minute DVD the  exercise routines are well described and the detailed movements are photographed and shown clearly a real winner.

 

 

Nutritional Factual Books

 

If you are serious about looking after your body then you will need a calorie carb and fat counter the most comprehensive one around I feel is The Calorie Carb and Fat Bible this gives you a detailed breakdown of all the nutrients to be found in a multitude of foods.  If you are serious about nutrition then this is a must have.

 

My last recommendation to accompany a sound nutrition and exercise regime is a Workout Log book  this allows you to keep a monitor on the exercise you perform on a daily basis as well as  keeping a nutritional diary and a daily score on the exertion or effort you feel you have put in that day.  This is a great way to monitor your fitness progress.
